Peaceful and best possible location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed. Also, we wanted to visit Marina View Park, that was within walking distance of the hotel.

My room was both impressive and huge with sofa and the bedroom, as for instance. The location of this reasonably priced and absolutely great hotel was perfect, to everything downtown etc.

The room was spotless and huge, had exceptionally comfortable and included a microwave, coffee/tea making machines, and a refrigerator. It was facing city. The location was marvellous and unbeatable in a seedy part of town and the atmosphere was quiet.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Everything was simply great. The accommodation was fairly clean, the room was newly decorated and neat. I stayed in the room that was updated with a non sticky couch and available with a sofa bed. The location to everything downtown etc was marvellous. Besides, I explored Sweetwater Marsh Swamp relatively close to the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at Howard Johnson. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Despite a few minor issues like loose locks and noise from the pool, the staff was quick to respond and fix any problems. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Well, Wi-Fi was horrible.

The location was marvellous, to everything downtown etc with easy access to a market and all stores.

Conveniently located near highway with easy access to businesses, laundry, restaurants, groceries, and gas. Friendly staff who promptly addressed all our needs. Rooms felt like mini apartments, complete with a well-equipped kitchen area. Secure, gated parking added a sense of safety.

The rooms need a serious updating, towels feel like sandpaper, and the worst part... Every night I had to kill at least 3-5 cockroaches, some where little and some medium in size, but they where everywhere...

It boasts a great and absolutely perfect location; close enough to markets within walking distance as well as the train station on E street in Chula Vista.

howard johnson was a pleasant surprise! staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. great location for concert and beach. exceeded my expectations!

Very old furniture, the refrigerator did not work well, and the pool was not clean.
