i had a great experience at howard johnson. the staff was super friendly and accommodating. they moved me to a freshly renovated room that was almost brand new, apart from the sofa. the outdoor pool was nice, and it's very close to the trolley station into san diego, making it convenient for exploring. definitely looking forward to coming back!
